Background:-
This tank is situated on the other side of the road of the Naga Vihara in Jaffna city on the road leading to point pedro. In the city of Jaffna which is crowded with buildings on all sides, the presence of this tank is a boon to the lovers of nature. The worshippers who visit the Naga Vihara and the tourist invariably take rest under the shades of the huge trees that about the said tank. It will be a pleasant sight to view the sunrise from the edges of this tank in the mornings.
Travel path:-
Bus stand -> travel through hospital road -> 600m -> turn left to Jaffna Point Pedro road (AB20) on right side -> 350m -> near to Naga Vihara -> Aariyakulam.
